Married to my hubby for 37yrs.I enjoy wandering on the beach and fishing. I am seeking to actively follow Jesus.Digital photography allows me to capture ideas for expressing thoughts creatively on canvas and leather. I love the colour purple and one day will be totally outragous and wear it with a red hat etc.

We have also made a bracelet to tell the true meaning of Easter from a Christian perspective.

Easter is a time when Christians remember God’s plan for saving people

Use a Wordless Book bracelet and explain how this can be used to teach anyone about Jesus and Salvation. Each colouron the bead represents a part of the plan of salvation.

  • Gold or yellow represents heaven. God created us to have fellowship with him, to be with him.
  • Black represents sin, which separates us from God.
  • Red represents the blood Jesus shed on the cross to pay the penalty or price for our sin.
  • White represents our hearts when Jesus takes away our sin.
  • Green represents growing as a new Christian.

Life is busy, work is busy and full of surprises.

The pace has not stopped creativity but I only have time for small items. Our small craft group has been together 11years now.. I have also continues to lead a craft group as a volunteer. I am always inspired by the enthusiasm of this group. Last Easter was fun painting foam egg shapes and adding ears and arms.
It was also fun to fold a washer to make a holder for a small chocolate egg

My The years fly past
Thankfully I still have the use of my fingers and hands.
This allows me to continue creating.

I enjoy creating star cards as gifts for special people.

Wow what a long time since visits. I must have been busy. Only occasional card making and working. Living takes up a lot of time.

Re: Major Creation
Going to all that effort to put ink to paper was worth every hour spent.
I now know that the reward will be at least a credit for this subject.
Study as a mature student really taxes the brain a lot more than in my youth.
The focus on the subject material is much sharper and probably has something
to do with choosing to study rather than having it forced apon me.

The enjoyment lies in the research of subject material and I still really hate
deadlines. They are so restricting.
Without them nothing would ever be finished.

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn’t go, and doesn’t suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves.
And satin sandals and say we’ve no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I’m tired.
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells.
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people’s gardens
And learn to spit.
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beer mats and things in boxes.
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

All the while , I hold a smile,
to attempt to hide,
the pain that I'm in,
and the pain that I feel inside.
Silly me, my friends, they see
and support me anyway...

Let me but live my life
from year to year,
With forward face and
unreluctant soul;
No hurrying to, nor turning
from the goal; Not mourning for
the things that
disappear
in the dim past, nor
boldly back in fear from
what the future veils, but,
with a whole and happy
heart, that pays its toll
to Youth and Age
and travels on with Cheer.

Purple really is a beautiful colour.
Very strong and rich.
Full of energy and warmth.
Signifies one wall and resistance against authority.
One wall granted lead to a glimmer of power unknown before.
Now I write with purple ink and wear rich deep purple clothing.
